Marketing Research

Grupo RADAR makes different types of marketing researches, using both qualitative (focus groups or interviews in depth) and quantitative techniques (face to face in homes, coincidental or in central lease; by telephone; by Internet; or auto-managed).

Some specific areas in which we have worked:

  • Retail Audits for products of massive consumption; we worked on a panel of more than 1,500 sale points around the country.
  • Client Satisfaction Studies, both to companies and individuals.
  • Systematic tracking of consumers’ panels, on habits of consumption, advertising memory, positioning and brands fidelity.
  • Mystery shopping for diverse areas, like financial products and services, gas stations or clothing.
  • Nutritional products tests prior to launchings.
  • Studies for the geographic location of the premises of supermarkets and branches of banks.

Public Opinion Research

From 1998 we work strongly in the area of Public opinion, totally independently from all political, enterprise or media group. We have been contracted both by branches of Encuentro Progresista, Partido Nacional and Partido Colorado, by enterprise chambers and unions, and the media.

Our surveys have been published in Semanario Crónicas until 2004, and in Diario La República and A.M. Libre from 2005.

These are the electoral instances for which we have made studies:

  • Internal elections of the parties, 1998.
  • General elections (presidential and parliamentary), first round and ballotage, 1999.
  • Departmental elections (San José, Canelones, Treinta y Tres, Montevideo), 2000.
  • Referendum by the ANCAP law, 2003.
  • Internal elections of the parties, 2004.
  • General elections (presidential and parliamentary), 2004.
  • Water Plebiscite, 2005
  • Departmental elections (Montevideo, San José, Maldonado, Canelones), 2005

 

Media Research

From 2002 to 2004 we have carried out the General Measurement of Audience for Bureau de Radios, organization who reunites the main radio broadcasting stations of Montevideo.

In 2005 we were contracted by Red Oro, the main chain of radios of the interior, to measure the audience inside the country.


We also make measurements of audience for TV, and researches on press readers.

 

International Studies

We made all types of telephone surveys from our call-center in Montevideo to any Spanish-speaking country, using IP technology. We have broad experience in surveys to Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Spain, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Venezuela, particularly in the medical area and B2B. We can carry out field work using data bases of our client or creating them ourselves.

We also coordinate multicountries studies in all Latin America, thanks to our wide network of contacts with reliable colleagues of the entire region.

 

Some questions we can answer

 

• Which is my market share? Which is my competitor’s market share? What is the market size for a certain product category?

Our service Retail Audit for products of massive consumption works on a panel of more than 1,500 points of sale in all the country.

• What do my clients / consumers look for? Why do they leave, even though they never showed to be unsatisfied?

We make studies on clients’ satisfaction, both to companies and individuals.

• Is my advertising campaign effective? How much people saw it? How much people remember it? What’s my brand’s value?

We have systematic tracking of consumers’ panels, on consumption habits, advertising memory, positioning and fidelity to brands.

• How am I located in the market’s map of prices? What’s the service in our premises’ quality? What about our competition? What do they do which I do not?

Our mystery shopping service in areas like financial products and services, gas stations or clothing contributes with valuable data, that allows our clients to improve their performance in the market, empower their staff, or define new marketing strategies.

• How can I predict the sales of a product, or a promotion, before putting it in the market? Which is the right price for that product?

A test of products or services prior to the launching, aids to plan the amounts, optimize the investment, and establish marketing strategies that maximize the profitability.

• If it had more premises, would it increase my sales? Which is the best location?
